This banknote does not carry the word SPECIMEN and has a serial number A009020 but for some reason was never issued. The Banque du Congo Belge history states that "important orders for banknotes and coins were place in UK, USA and South Africa in 1943", which could indicate that particular year. Unseen at auction for the past years, of the highest rarity and no value yet listed in Pick. Very striking and absent from almost all collections.
